Maryland Center for Nonprofit Governance

Welcome to the Maryland Center for Nonprofit Governance. We specialize in providing expert pro bono consulting services to help launch nonprofit organizations. We understand that the legal requirements involved in setting up a nonprofit organization, drafting bylaws and governance documents, and applying for recognition from the IRS can often be overwhelming and cost prohibitive. We are here to provide pro bono legal services to help guide your nonprofit towards success. With our wealth of experience and expertise in nonprofit governance we will help advise you on the appropriate board structure as well as all legal and ethical requirements.
Since this is a pro bono service, our time is limited, and we can only assist a certain number of organizations at any given time. To be added to our waitlist please fill out the consultation request form at the bottom of the page. We look forward to hearing from you.
